UWDC Email Subscriber Drawing Rules
- 1. PRIZES: Each drawing winner will choose one (1) nonprofit organization to receive a cash donation of $1,000 from United Way of Olmsted County (dba United Way of Dodge County). Recipient organizations must be selected from an approved list of United Way of Dodge County partner agencies; approved list of nonprofit organizations can be found online at https://unitedwayofdodgecountymn.org/our-impact/ and will be provided in writing to drawing winners at the time of issuance of prize notification. Cash donations cannot be directed to individuals, for-profit businesses, or nonprofit organizations other than those pre-approved by United Way of Dodge County.
- 2. TIMING: Four (4) drawings will take place. The incentive promotion includes all active subscribers to the United Way of Dodge County email newsletter at the time of the drawing instance. Monthly drawing instances will take place on October 1, 2023; November 1, 2023; December 1, 2023; and January 1, 2024, or as soon as practical thereafter. Drawing winners must provide the drawing Sponsor their selection from approved list of United Way of Dodge County partner agencies within seven (7) days of date of issuance of prize notification.
- ELIGIBILITY: Employees and board members of United Way of Olmsted County (dba United Way of Dodge County) and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate. Only individuals/families are eligible for the Drawing; organizations are not eligible. Limit of one (1) entry per subscriber per drawing instance.
- Any individual who is subscribed to the United Way of Dodge County email newsletter at the time drawing takes place will be automatically entered into the Drawing.
- Subscribers are eligible for entry into each drawing instance, provided they are actively subscribed at the time each drawing instance takes place.
- Drawing winners are not eligible for future drawing instances.
No donation or purchase necessary to enter.
- ENTRIES: All active subscriptions to the United Way of Dodge County newsletter will be considered an entry into the Drawing. An active subscription is a subscription of a valid email address at the time the drawing takes place. Individuals who have unsubscribed from the email newsletters will not be considered subscribers qualified for entry. Individuals may subscribe to the United Way of Dodge County newsletter at any time at www.unitedwayofdodgecountymn.org.
- DRAWING AND ANNOUNCEMENT: Four (4) separate drawings will take place. Drawing instances will occur approximately monthly on October 1, 2023; November 1, 2023; December 1, 2023; and January 1, 2024, or as soon as practical thereafter. Drawings will take place at United Way of Olmsted County (dba United Way of Dodge County) or via zoom. One winner and two alternates will be drawn for each instance. The winner will be notified in writing at the email address (email notification) with which they are subscribed to the United Way of Dodge County newsletter.
If the potential winner declines the prize in writing, does not meet the stated eligibility requirements of the drawing, does not respond with their selection within seven (7) calendar days from the date of email notification, or is not in compliance with these Official Rules, the potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected in the order in which they were drawn.
Name of Winners will be available once an eligible winner has been identified at www.unitedwayofdodgecountymn.org/stay-updated.
- REQUIRED INFORMATION: The Winner will be required to provide their full name. Additional information including but not limited to home address, phone number, or photograph may be requested; declining such requests for additional information will not impact prize eligibility.
- RECEIPT OF PRIZES: Donations to approved nonprofit organizations selected by Winners will be paid by check by United Way of Olmsted County within 60 days of notification of prize selection by Winners. No substitution or transfer or prize, except by United Way of Olmsted County due to unavailability. United Way of Olmsted County reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or modify this promotion if not capable of completion as planned.
